Hands-on courses equip corporate communicators to sparkle
Communicating effectively with stakeholders, utilising social media platforms and polishing up on organisational communication skills are the main focus areas of the scheduled classes.
“Our classes are very practical which ensures that delegates can use what they have learnt immediately,” says Theo Coggin, principal trainer of the Quo Vadis Training Division. “This, together with our vast experience in journalism and business, is what makes our courses and workshops unique.”
Delegates who attended recent Quo Vadis courses are enthusiastic about the professional skills they have learnt. Says Yolandi Heath from ABSA, “The practical exercises and interactive feedback by the highly experienced trainers were the most helpful aspects of the course.”
And communications specialist from SANParks, Reynold Thakuli, says, “This course helped me personally in the process and development of my managerial skills. I am a better person now and brave enough to face my challenges.”
Courses and workshops over June and July include:
- The Social Media Workshop to be held on 29 June covers the different platforms
of social media and how they can be used effectively in business.
-
improving corporate image amongst all stakeholders of a company through
strategic management and communications. This workshop will guide
delegates in forming stakeholder plans and discovering which can be
easily slotted into their existing organisational plans for a successful result.
-
focus on refining the basic communication skills. This course is ideal for those
who have gained many years experience in the field of communications and
for those who have already graduated from Quo Vadis’ Organisational
Communications course. Participants in this course must be at an executive

All the courses provided by Quo Vadis can also be conducted in-house for companies that wish to train a group of their employees. Course content is tailored to meet the company’s needs.
